IT Business Consultant FICO (New General Ledger & Asset Accounting)

To deliver and support global SAP Finance (FI) solutions with a focus on New General Ledger and Asset Accounting. The role involves translating business requirements into functional specifications and ensuring effective delivery of IT application services, including consulting, projects, and maintenance within the global SAP environment.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and support initiatives within the SAP Finance (FI) module, with a strong focus on New General Ledger (New GL) and Asset Accounting.
  • Design, implement, and optimize finance processes in alignment with business objectives and global standards.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned areas, managing and executing the Application Life Cycle process and roadmap globally.
  • Act as Project Lead, Team Lead, or Subject Matter Expert in SAP-related projects.
  • Prepare, plan, and implement enhancements and innovations within the global SAP environment.
  • Develop functional specifications and perform SAP customizing to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable, and compliant finance solutions.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of SAP experience, including at least 5 years of relevant experience in the SAP Finance (FI) module.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Finance, with strong expertise in New General Ledger (New GL) and Asset Accounting (AA).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) – Receivables Management, SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) including eDocument Cockpit for eInvoicing and Kyriba Treasury Management / InhouseBanking is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in financial management and IT project management.
  • Strong consulting and project management skills, with exposure to international and multicultural environments.
  • Works independently, proactively, and demonstrates analytical thinking with fact-based reasoning.
  • Keeps up to date with the latest IT technologies, trends, and developments.
