To deliver and support global SAP Finance (FI) solutions with a focus on New General Ledger and Asset Accounting. The role involves translating business requirements into functional specifications and ensuring effective delivery of IT application services, including consulting, projects, and maintenance within the global SAP environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support initiatives within the SAP Finance (FI) module
- Design, implement, and optimize finance processes in alignment with business objectives and global standards.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned areas, managing and executing the Application Life Cycle process and roadmap globally.
- Act as Project Lead, Team Lead, or Subject Matter Expert in SAP-related projects.
- Prepare, plan, and implement enhancements and innovations within the global SAP environment.
- Develop functional specifications and perform SAP customizing to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable, and compliant finance solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in business informatics, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 8 years of SAP consulting experience, with at least 5 years focused on SAP Finance (FI), including hands-on S/4HANA project experience (implementation, migration, or rollout).
- Deep hands-on expertise in New General Ledger (New GL), Tax and Asset Accounting
- Practical experience with SAP DRC / eDocument Cockpit for e-invoicing compliance and SAP FSCM Receivables Management.
- Proven track record leading or supporting FI workstreams in international rollout or migration projects, with direct experience presenting to and gathering requirements from business stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and hands-on experience implementing country-specific legal requirements in SAP FI, including local tax rules and statutory reporting across multiple countries or regions
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Comfortable working in a global, matrixed organization with multiple time zones and cultures.
