Junior Process Associate

The purpose of this role is to maintain and enhance existing Power BI solutions with a strong focus on data accuracy and performance optimization. The role holder will transform simple datasets into actionable business insights by designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain end-to-end data integration and ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes from multiple sources such as databases, APIs (Application Programming Interface), and files. 
  • Execute and maintain regular reporting portfolio to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Manage data models including relationships, hierarchies, measures, and tables for effective reporting.
  • Ensure stability of Power BI models and support consolidation of datasets when required.
  • Monitor data refresh schedules and overall Power BI service performance.
  • Deploy reports to Power BI Service and manage user access and governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and support senior developers in solution building.
  • Troubleshoot minor dataset or access issues, update dashboards, and resolve reporting bugs. 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in basic analytics & Power BI
  • Basic knowledge of creating Power BI dashboards using simple datasets
  • Understanding data analysis and reporting concepts; exposure to financial reporting will be an added advantage
