PS Material Compliance Senior Specialist

To ensure Clariant's products comply with relevant chemical regulations, material requirements, and trade regulations across assigned regions. Verify proper HS/HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) code classification for import/export compliance.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across teams to assess regulatory compliance.
  • Collect and evaluate data per legal, regulatory, and business requirements.
  • Ensure material and product compliance through document and data analysis.
  • Conduct HS/HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) code classification in line with country regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with global and local import/export laws.
  • Document compliance data in systems like SAP Environment, Health, and Safety (SAP EHS).
  • Communicate compliance restrictions and requirements to stakeholders.
  • Support implementation of regulatory changes.

 

Requirements

•    Any Graduacte (preffered degree in Science or equivalent studies)
•    7+ years of experience in in Chemical, Pharma or other highly regulated industries
•    Must have experience in chemical regulations, material compliance and trade regulations.
•    Must have experience in HS/HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classification. 
•    Involvement in decision-making and problem-solving thinking.
•    Self-motivation to learn regulations and strive for regulatory excellence.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
