Process Lead- Accounts Payable Travel and Expense

To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of Travel & Expense (T&E) claims while maintaining strong internal controls and service levels. The role also focuses on driving process efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across regional operations.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of Travel & Expense (T&E) and employee reimbursement claims, with strict adherence to defined internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable tax and statutory regulations related to T&E
  • Maintain, update, and ensure effective usage of process documentation, SOPs, and desktop procedures for Travel & Expense operations
  • Manage end-to-end workflow across regions, proactively monitoring queues and initiating actions to achieve SLA and quality targets
  • Identify opportunities and contribute ideas for continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancement within the Travel & Expense process
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors/customers

 

Requirements

  • Graduate in Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, BAF or equivalent)
  • 5–8 years of overall experience, including 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Concur (Travel & Expense)
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP Finance
  • Strong knowledge of company policies, internal controls, and tax compliance related to employee expenses
  • Experience in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment is preferred
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end processes with a focus on optimization and continuous improvement
