Product Stewardship Executive

The purpose of this position is to oversee the Environment, Health & Safety dimensions of Clariant products. This role includes supervising these aspects across the complete product life cycle and involves extensive collaboration with both upstream and downstream users of the product.


Responsibilities

  • Generating documents pertaining to Clariant product and raw material regulatory compliance (Ensure the production of legally compliant reports based on product, raw material, and their
  • component data)
  • Developing and distributing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and other declarations/certificates related to product safety to our worldwide customers. (Generate and
  • update safety data sheets and other product safety declarations globally for our customers)
  • Assessing and managing product safety data in systems. (Evaluate, maintain, and archive product safety data)
  • Tracking regulatory modifications worldwide and integrating them into Clariant systems. (Analyze regulatory changes)
  • Assisting in the continual enhancement of our global processes

 

Requirements

  • The incumbent should possess an M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Ideally, candidates should have 2-4 years of experience in Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals
  • (GHS).
  • Familiarity with international chemical regulations such as GHS and dangerous goods declaration is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral, is essential.
  • Candidates should exhibit teamwork skills and a readiness to travel.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work independently, with a structured and results-driven approach, is vital.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems, especially modules EH&S and WINS in SAP, is an advantage while knowledge of safety tests for chemical products is helpful, it is not obligatory
