Product Stewardship Specialist

To execute the role of Product Stewardship specialist in the management of Environment, Health & Safety aspects of Clariant products, throughout the entire life cycle, closely working with upstream and downstream users of the product. 


Responsibilities

•    Responsible for the on-time availability of regulatory compliance relevant information in Clariant 
•    Monitoring regulatory development in the area or responsibility and ensure preparedness for the changes in Clariant systems 
•    Prepare Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and other product safety declarations/certificates for global customers.
•    Ensure legally compliant reports based on product compositions, raw materials, and regulatory data.
•    Evaluate, maintain, and archive product safety-related data in SAP systems.
•    Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across global functions.
•    Track and monitor regulatory changes globally.
•    Ensure the continuous optimization of our global processes thereby contribute to enhancement of the processes.


 

Requirements

•    M.Sc. in chemistry or related fields from a reputed university.
•    8-10 years of overall experience. 
•    5+ years of experience in Product Stewardship/Regulatory Affairs 
•    Hands-on experience with SDS (Safety Data Sheets).
•    Must have experience with European regulations – REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization & Restriction of Chemicals) and CLP (Classification, Labelling & Packaging)
•    Must have experience with SAP EHS (Environment, Health and Safety).
•    Proven stakeholder management experience.
•    Ability to work in teams, flexible to support inter-team processes.
•    Strong analytical & decision-making skills. 
•    Structured, independent, and results-oriented work.
