Senior Process Manager

The Senior Process Manager is responsible for overseeing and enhancing global controlling services, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvements through better reporting and an expanded range of services. This role involves managing resources and teams, as well as driving process improvements to increase efficiency. Also, the Senior Process Manager works to build strong relationships with stakeholders and supports successful project transitions, contributing to operational excellence and creating strategic value for the team and organization.


Responsibilities

Operations Management - Controlling
•    Lead and inspire the team to deliver stable and timely controlling services to Clariant globally.
•    Enhance controlling reports to provide deeper insights and improved outcomes compared to the transition phase.
•    Expand the scope of delivery to include both Regional and Corporate Controlling.
•    Ensure adherence to SLAs as per contract, with a strong focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
•    Manage and adhere to the Operations & Project budget effectively.
Resource Management
•    Plan team capacity, ensure effective backup planning, and oversee disciplined performance management, including resource hiring.
•    Supervise, motivate, and mentor employees to foster personal and professional growth.
•    Facilitate cross-training, coaching, and development opportunities, ensuring team members receive the necessary orientation and continuous growth.
•    Foster employee engagement and actively work to improve Employee Satisfaction Score/eNPS.
Process Improvements & Automation
•    Foster a culture of problem-solving and Lean methodology across the team.
•    Ensure standardization and harmonization to create synergies and improve efficiency.
•    Identify automation opportunities to optimize resource management and enhance speed and quality.
•    Lead or contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement projects in collaboration with the GPO organization.
•    Proactively identify opportunities to add value, enabling deeper insights and better decision-making.
Stakeholder Management
•    Address internal client inquiries and manage second-level escalation cases effectively.
•    Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and support.
•    Conduct quality governance calls as per the established governance framework.
•    Create and deliver added value to stakeholders through continuous improvement of services.
Projects
•    Support change management efforts, ensuring successful project outcomes and transitions.

 


 

Requirements

Education:
A graduate or postgraduate degree in finance or a related field.

Business Experience:
•    At least 8-10 years of experience in business analytics and supervisory roles.
•    More than 5 years of experience in controlling/FP&A, with exposure to Global Business (GB), Business Blueprint (BB), and Lean methodologies being a plus.
•    Previous experience in a Shared Services Centre (SSC) is preferred.

Additional Qualifications and Competencies Required:

•    Expertise in advanced Excel, SAP BW, and Power BI.
•    Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and guide team members to achieve high performance.
•    Strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate complex situations and drive financial improvements.
•    Strong financial analysis skills, providing actionable insights to enhance profitability.
•    Adaptability in leading change and managing transitions in dynamic environments.
•    Proficiency in Lean methodologies to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
