Talent Acquisition Specialist

Drive efficient, high-quality sourcing, recruitment, selection, and pre-onboarding processes while ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and implementing process improvements to enhance overall talent acquisition outcomes.


Responsibilities

 

  • Attract and secure top-tier talent from the external marketplace for the region.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including job briefings, thorough candidate assessments, and offer management.
  • Develop customized recruitment strategies covering advertisements, active sourcing, selection criteria, and collaboration with search partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Engage and attract talent to Clariant through targeted social media campaigns and outreach initiatives.
  • Oversee recruitment across India and other regions, considering local labor laws, cultural differences, and language nuances while maintaining a consistent recruitment process.
  • Build and nurture strong stakeholder relationships, gaining insights into departmental cultures to provide alternative solutions when needed.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with high-potential external candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Leverage data and analytics proactively to support recruitment decisions and process improvements.
  • Stay updated on business, market, legal, and recruitment trends that impact Clariant.
  • Coach hiring managers on interview techniques, structured evaluations, and effective candidate communication.
  • Collaborate on Talent Acquisition optimization projects and contribute to broader HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage recruitment fairs and industry outreach programs.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, either internally within an organization or externally with an agency/RPO, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in sourcing and conducting comprehensive candidate interviews (beyond pre-screening) across corporate, technical, and commercial functions.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including candidates, team members, and hiring managers.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to manage communications effectively across multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to source top talent from diverse regions and cultures, consistently achieving hiring goals and delivering high-quality hires within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach to working within the direct team and across the organization.
  • Data-driven problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed recruitment decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, ideally with familiarity in SuccessFactors.
  • Experience managing international recruitment processes is advantageous.
  • Courage to speak up and contribute ideas confidently.
