Master Planner (Production Planning)
The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient planning, scheduling, and coordination of production processes at the Bonthapally plant.
Responsibilities
• Plan production for Bonthapally plant and toller site.
• Using SAP APO-PPG (Advanced Planning and Optimization - Production Planning Group), including raw material procurement and purchase decisions.
• Schedule production based on resource availability and product specifications.
• Ensure tolling agreements are valid before issuing PR (Purchase request)/PO (Purchase order) for manufacturing.
• Lead Sales and Operations Planning to ensure timely product supply and optimal plant capacity.
• Review Raw Material plans, adjusting schedules as needed based on lead times.
• Review export order reports weekly and provide material availability dates.
• Report on monthly production vs. plan and analyze any variances.
• Lead discussions to optimize inventory levels and meet targets.
• Oversee the supply of trading materials to Bonthapally plant, coordinating with Procurement
Requirements
• Graduate in Engineering/Chemical/Science or Supply Chain preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Production Planning, Inventory Control, Supply Chain or operations.
• Working experience in Advanced Planning tools or ERP tool.
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected plant challenges.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
