Customer Care NORAM

Provide outstanding customer service to meet the demand of the client´s requirements, by supplying purchase orders, analyzing the information and contributing to the business sales objectives with focus in NORAM Region.


Responsibilities

  • Create profile of new clients to the BU FM and maintain the SAP master data module SD.                                                                   
  • Creation of shipping instructions for new customers and updating them when the client's profile requires it."                                                           
  • Receive, register in SAP and confirm purchase orders from clients in the portfolio for the SAP system in the US10, CA10 and MX10 systems.                                                           
  • Ensure that the information in SAP for each sales order contains the necessary instructions for its correct dispatch.                                                                   
  • Ensure the correct flow of procedures related to the issuance of export documents.                                                             
  • Administration and update of intercompany prices quarterly.             
  • Validate sales forecast in conjunction with Noram Sales Manager & Inside Sales Coordinator.                                                                 
  • Forecast analysis, firm orders, consumption projection and lead time of railcars and trucks.                                                              
  • Ensure with planning the necessary conditions to define the product availability date and reorder point (Inventory policy).                                                         
  • Manage with planning the product availability date to supply orders that cause deviations to the frozen zone.                                                           
  • Request credit releases to GBS when there is blocking of sales orders to ensure the dispatch of the materials.                                                         
  • Ensure that there is a proper policy inventory level in distribution centers to avoid overstocking and stock out.                                                          
  • Coordinate with logistics positioning of dry vans, pneumatic trucks and railcars for domestic distribution in the US from DCs.                                                                     
  • Coordinate with logistics positioning of dry vans, boxcars & railcars for exports to the US and Canada from Mexico or US DCs.                                                                   
  • Follow-up to transport units to ensure delivery on time with customers.                                                                      
  • Request and keep track of intercompany materials coming from Europe to supply customers in the US and Canada.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in international business or logistics.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Foreign Trade, Customer service, Incoterms, Payment Methods.
  • Knowledge of international trade agreements and export generalities.
  • English level at least C1 (complete interaction with USA and Canada).
  • Experience using SAP.
  • Experience using Office and anlytics with Excel.
  • Customer focus, Strategic thinking and planning, Orientation to continuous improvement, Decision making.
