(Senior) Manager Tax Reporting & Compliance (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced (Senior) Manager Tax Reporting & Compliance (m/f/d) to join our global Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Group's external income tax reporting obligations and ensuring compliance with international tax regulations. The position is available at either our Frankfurt or Munich location.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage external income tax reporting obligations for the Group
  • Review tax reporting packages (IAS 12) on quarterly and annual basis
  • Manage consolidation of annual effective tax rate
  • Ensure timely and accurate closing process including calculation of Group's current and deferred taxes
  • Review tax disclosures and tax footnote information
  • Analyze main group balance sheet items according to IFRS & local TAX GAAP
  • Support ETR-Reconciliation for Investor Relations
  • Develop and improve global tax reporting processes
  • Lead development of tax reporting & Pillar II Compliance process with BIG4
  • Identify and analyze global tax risks and ensure compliance (IFRIC 23)
  • Support digital transformation and M&A projects from tax accounting perspective
  • Address challenges from BEPS 2.0 / Pillar II and support group tax planning strategies
  • Drive Automation & AI Initiatives for Tax Reporting & Compliance
  • Support tax audit requests around CIT
  • Develop and ensure solid Internal Controls
  • Design and maintain tax training materials
  • Manage external tax advisory firms and GBS R2R teams

 

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in BIG4 or similar in-house tax department
  • Strong experience in IFRS (IAS12)
  • Certified Tax Expert or CPA as a must
  • Self-driven personality with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity with strong sense of immediacy
  • Experience turning strategic vision into operational models
  • Familiarity with regulated environments and hands-on, pragmatic approach
