Account Manager

We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Account Manager to join our Care Chemicals Business Unit, Business Segment Industrial Application. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key customer relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective account management strategies in Turkey and the sub-region MEA.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage Heart/Belly customer accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with procurement and other key stakeholders
  • Drive growth and satisfaction of assigned accounts through strategic planning and execution
  • Handle contracts, price management, and address overdue payments
  • Gather and analyze customer demand development insights to identify opportunities
  • Expand share of wallet through successful participation in biddings and tenders
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential churn risks to ensure customer retention
  • Maintain accurate CRM customer data and manage new business development pipeline in collaboration with Business Development
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting to support business planning
  • Operate in a coordinated team set-up to ensure full customer journey success, business development, distribution 

 

Requirements

  • University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science
  • 5+ years of sales experience in Turkey and the sub-region MEA, preferably in the specialty chemicals industry
  • Strong sales drive and achievement motivation with a hunter mentality
  • Excellent business acumen and commercial creativity
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in English (full proficiency required)
  • Fluency in Turkish (native level) is required
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate as a team player in a team-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and proactive approach to customer relationship management
  • Good technical understanding of chemical products and applications
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools including AI
  • Adaptability, resilience, and agility in a dynamic business environment
  • Track record of delivering results and meeting expectations
  • Valid driving license
  • Availability for domestic and international travel
  • Completed military service or exemption

Please Note: This is not a remote position. Presence in the Istanbul office is required when not traveling
