ESHA Supervisor

Responsibilities

Technical Support & Compliance

  • Provide expert consultation on safety, health, and environmental issues for manufacturing plants
  • Monitor and interpret national and local regulations to ensure site compliance
  • Support manufacturing teams with comprehensive risk evaluations
  • Implement and maintain company ESHA standards, guidelines, and targets

 

Strategic Project Management 

  • Define and oversee investment projects related to ESHA improvements
  • Organize and participate in site emergency management planning and execution
  • Evaluate and monitor ESHA-related budgets for investments and expenses
  • Track and report on ESH audits and insurance inspection

 

Business Unit Collaboration

  • Report site information to Plant Management
  • Deliver ESHA and Responsible Care training programs for all personnel
  • Collect and analyse key performance indicators and risk portfolio data
  • Review environmental and safety compliance requirements and assess operational impacts
  • Ensure adherence to Responsible Care principles at regional and corporate levels

 

Safety Leadership

  • Support contractors in understanding and implementing safety requirements
  • Represent the company during regulatory authority visits and inspections
  • Lead investigations for accidents and incidents at the site
  • Identify and implement corrective and preventive actions for risk mitigation

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in planning and execution of ESHA programs
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process, chemical, or related manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication abilities and team collaboration
  • Commitment to safety culture and continuous improvement
