(Senior) Procurement Direct Spend Specialist with Spanish and/or Portuguese

To our Procurement Direct Spend Latam team we are currently looking for a (Senior) Specialist. Person on this position will be responsible for purchasing and customer service for Latin America region. This is the II shift position with the knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese requirement.

 

 

What will you be doing?

  • Clarify demand specification with requester and provide further advice towards existing buying channels indirect spend area.
  • Carry out spot buys by requesting supplier’s quotations, negotiate and prepare award decisions.
  • Carry out transactional ordering either based on framework agreements or spot buy activities by creating, changing, and releasing SAP purchase orders.
  • Verify Purchase Orders towards supplier’s confirmation.
  • Carry out procurement Helpdesk function towards internal requesters on exceptional cases.
  • Monitor supplier timeliness and conduct dunning (Purchase Order follow-up) and handle complaints towards suppliers via SAP QM QNS.
  • Initiate Master data management process (add/change supplier).
  • Clarification of purchase order/invoice mismatches.
 


 
What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Buisness, Logistics or other relevant field.
  • 2 years of proven experience in Procurement or Supply Chain as a minimum.
  • Good understanding of procurement function and processes.
  • Practical experience in customer and supplier service.
  • SAP MM knowledge.
  • Proficient Knowledge of MS Office (Power BI would be an advantage).
  • Languages:
  • Internal corporate language: English B2 level required.
  • Working with customers: Spanish and/or Portuguese B2 level required.
