What will you be doing?

  • Ensure all the up-to-date operational procedures are maintained, documented and executed, all the operations adherence to the standardized process landscape
  • Handle client queries and escalations, ensure feedback to client queries within agreed turnaround time
  • Contribute to and / or lead implementation of quality / continuous improvement projects
  • Support and initiate process improvement initiatives and related projects, be proactive and creative on contributing ideas for service improvement
  • Manage and rate on employee performance, motivate, develop team members, arrange orientation programs and work out development planning
  • Attract and retain adequate people in the team and build-up know-how capability
  • Respond to critical vendor and internal client inquires (first level escalation cases)
  • Maintain positive work relationship with members of other teams in and outside of the SSC to whom information is provided or from whom information is gathered
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and ensure customer satisfaction.

 
What are we looking for?

  • University degree in Business Administration or Economics Sciences or in international shipping, forwarding or trade.
  • 5+ years solid experience in the business areas.
  • Preferably 2~3+ years in team management.
  • Strong operational management skills, with the ability to oversee daily processes, ensure SLA/KPI adherence, and maintain compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Ability to plan and manage team workload effectively, ensuring proper backup, knowledge transfer, and balanced task distribution.
  • Experience in process improvement and quality management, including initiating, leading, and implementing continuous improvement or efficiency projects.
  • Proactive and analytical mindset, capable of problem-solving, driving process excellence, and contributing to operational innovation.
  • Customer‑oriented - prioritize the needs and expectations of internal and external customers, proactively respond to their inquiries and escalations, and translate customer requirements into effective, sustainable solutions.
  • Effective communication and change management skills, adept at guiding teams through transformation, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive, collaborative work atmosphere.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, effectively handling escalations, driving root cause analysis (RCA), and translating customer needs into practical, sustainable solutions.
  • Good respective SAP Module knowledge, Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Language skills: Fluent English ( knowledge of other languages will be an asset)
