As our Supply Planner, you'll be at the heart of our operations, using cutting-edge optimization algorithms to orchestrate seamless production flows that deliver results. This is your opportunity to lead the Sales & Operations Execution process, make strategic decisions that directly impact business success, and collaborate with global teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your expertise will shape the future of our supply chain.

 

 

What will you be doing?

  • Develop detailed planning scenarios and create feasible production schedules using optimization algorithms considering operational constraints.
  • Plan strategic raw materials for allocated production lines and manage the purchase order process, including call-offs.
  • Monitor inventory levels (stock, WIP, and GIT) and initiate corrective actions to optimize availability according to sales forecasts and production plans.
  • Lead the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process for assigned supply chains and coordinate components for lean production.
  • Communicate production plans, lead times, and capacity limitations to relevant stakeholders including Global Supply Managers.
  • Provide planning input to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) tactical and strategic processes.
  • Report and analyse production lead times, delivery reliability of strategic raw materials, and planning scenarios.
  • Implement improvement measures and participate in developing new planning systems and logistics processes.
 


 
What are we looking for?

  • Industrial, Process, or Supply Chain engineering degree
  • 5+ years of experience with production planning, supply chain, or production
  • Proficnency in SAP system and Advanced Planning Systems (e.g., APO, Kinaxis)
  • Experience with linear optimization algorithms and financial calculations (COGS, Idle capacity costs, Inventory carrying costs)
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to take initiatives
  • Excellent problem-solving attitude and decision-making confidence
  • Language skills:
  • English fluent
  • German nice to have
