TAX Process Lead

The Indirect Tax Process Lead position is being recruited to fulfil a 2-year contract necessitated by the expansion of the team's scope of responsibilities. This temporary role has been created specifically to support a new project initiative that requires specialized tax expertise and process management skills. The recruitment addresses the immediate need for additional leadership in tax operations while the organization implements new systems and processes, particularly in areas such as e-invoicing and tax automation. As the team's workload has increased due to scope extension, this position will ensure continued operational excellence and regulatory compliance during the period of growth and change.

 

 

What will you be doing?

  • Manage daily tax operations and drive end-to-end process improvements for VAT, WHT, and environmental taxes.
  • Support the Head of Tax Operations in meeting service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Lead implementation of e-invoicing systems and tax automation projects.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all tax activities and identify potential compliance issues.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive tax procedure documentation and training materials.
  • Serve as point of contact for country-specific tax reporting.
  • Coordinate tax meetings and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support M&A activities through SAP tax integration.
 


 
What are we looking for?

  • College degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Tax Law, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tax management, finance, or related business areas
  • Strong technical knowledge of VAT, WHT, and environmental tax regulations
  • Project management experience, particularly in process improvement
  • Knowledge of SAP and tax-related software (S/4 implementation project experience preferred)
  • Experience in preparing indirect tax reports for Noram market
  • Language skills:
  • English C1
  • French, Spanish or Portuguese nice to have
