Currently, we are looking for a person willing to join our Transport Management team. In this team, you would be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our products to our customers in Europe and around the world. You will take ownership and care of bulk transportation for our various businesses in the area of special chemistry for Industries like Pharma, Automotive, Aviation & Food, and Consumer Specialties. We collaborate with other departments in Clariant as well as with external partners, such as carriers and production plants. What will you be doing?
- Plan, coordinate & monitor SAP shipments
- Create and distribute the complete set of shipping documents
- Monitor the transport: loading and execution process including shipment tracking
- Act on delays of transport and complaints
- Perform claim management and troubleshooting
- Freight invoice verification and freight cost control
- Cooperate with CSD and BU, local sites/warehouses, customs authorities, and transport providers
- Maintain positive and strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Perform proactive and creative attitude on contributing ideas for service improvement
- Make sure you, and your team, are well-aligned on the expectations and common goals with the customer to jointly work on the target realization
- Try to challenge yourself and go beyond the usual while implementing changes, potential of reducing gaps or any waste
- Be actively involved in projects in the area of logistics and the possibility to participate in End to End process projects
What are we looking for?
- University degree
- Experience in international trade or logistics and transport planning
- MS Excel, Word, and Outlook - professional working competency
- Knowledge of the SAP system (SD module) - would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of Incoterms - would be an advantage
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen to customer expectations, understand customers’ needs and ensure regular feedback delivery.
- Willingness to work from the office in the Monopolis complex
- Strong motivation to work in a complex organization focused on results and achievement
- Language skills:
- English B2 level required
- German B2 level required
