Project Manager, Quality
Clariant is currently looking for a Project Manager, Quality to support operations at the facilities in Louisville, KY. The Project Manager, Quality is responsible for leading key quality improvement initiatives to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and drive a measurable profit and loss (P&L) impact. This role will oversee complex end-to-end projects, site-focused quality initiatives, and root cause analysis as part of complaint management. Additionally, the Project Manager will proactively assess Quality Control (QC) data, implement digital tools and statistical analysis, and drive Quality Digitalization, Automation, and Process Improvement efforts. This position is a full time, onsite opportunity. Responsibilities
• Lead and manage E2E COPQ projects (top-down selection) and site-specific improvement projects
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality issues related to complaint management and implement corrective actions
• Utilize digital tools and statistical methods to analyze QC data for early identification of potential quality issues
• Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Process Capability Analysis (PCA) on key products to identify improvement opportunities
• Monitor key quality KPI’s and drive quality digitalization and automation initiatives
• Support system management and audits to ensure alignment with ISO 9001 and other regulatory requirements
• Lead the Management of Change (MOC) process and maintain product control plans to ensure quality system consistency
• Establish and refine workflows, processes, and procedures to enhance quality management across the organization
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Production, and Supply Chain Management on quality-related topics
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product quality and project management within the chemical industry
• Experience with production processes, QC methods, and SAP
• Advanced statistical analysis skills and proficiency with digital tools
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured, results-driven work style
• ISO 9001 System management experience and a solid understanding of quality audits
