Clariant is a focused, sustainable, and innovative specialty chemical company. We connect our customers to value-adding and sustainable solutions for products used in countless everyday applications. Our solutions contribute to our customers' sustainability targets while prioritizing our own. We are committed to creating value through innovation and sustainability for our customers, stakeholders, and the environment.

As a (Senior) Manager, Digital Strategy & Delivery (m/f/d), you'll own the digital portfolio for one or more business domains, turning strategic ambition into initiatives that deliver real operational and financial impact. Working at the intersection of business leadership and execution, you'll turn business problems into structured roadmaps and solutions, while driving change management to ensure lasting user adoption

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the digital roadmap for assigned business domain(s), translating business ambitions into prioritized, executable initiatives with quantified business cases
  • Drive end-to-end ownership from pain point identification and problem framing to solution design, handoff to execution teams, and delivery oversight
  • Monitor progress across initiatives, proactively resolve blockers, escalate critical risks, and make decisive go/no-go calls for production rollouts
  • Hold execution teams accountable for quality, timelines, and business value realization
  • Build trust-based relationships with business stakeholders to maintain alignment and remove roadblocks
  • Partner with change management owners to embed digital solutions into business-as-usual operations and close feedback loops with stakeholders
  • Track and report value delivery through KPIs and ROI, driving continuous improvement across the portfolio
  • Act as a change agent within assigned domain(s), shifting mindsets toward digital-first, data-driven ways of working and building momentum through visible early wins

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business (MBA), Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience; Agile/Product Management certifications (CSPO, SAFe) or Digital Transformation credentials are a plus
  • 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in management consulting or digital product management, ideally in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record of delivering digital initiatives with measurable business impact — revenue growth, cost reduction, or operational efficiency
  • Structured problem-solver with the range to own a strategic roadmap and the hands-on agility to troubleshoot delivery
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial processes is a plus

Our Offer

  • The opportunity to make a significant impact through data-driven transformation
  • A collaborative working environment with cross-functional teams
  • Professional development opportunities in a global specialty chemicals company
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
