Digital Product Manager (m/f/d)

As Digital Product Manager, you will own digital product initiatives from discovery through development, launch, and adoption. Working closely with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders, you will translate user needs and complex workflows into intuitive and scalable software solutions.

Based in Munich and reporting to the Team Lead Product Management, you will help shape the future of our digital product portfolio for a global customer base.


Responsibilities

  • Own digital product initiatives from discovery and requirements definition through delivery, launch, and adoption
  • Translate user and business needs into clear product requirements, user journeys, and priorities for engineering teams
  • Work closely with software engineers and data scientists to make informed product and technical trade-offs
  • Drive UI/UX concepts, user research, validation, and continuous product improvement
  • Define product success metrics and use data and customer feedback to guide product decisions
  • Align stakeholders and communicate product vision, roadmap, priorities, and progress
  • Prioritize product backlogs and balance customer value, business impact, technical feasibility and delivery effort
  • Identify and drive opportunities for data-driven, AI-enabled and scalable product capabilities

 

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, business informatics, engineering, or a comparable discipline
  • Experience in software product management, software development, or technical product ownership
  • Strong understanding of software development and technical concepts such as APIs, data flows, integrations, databases, and cloud applications
  • Strong product and UI/UX mindset with experience translating user needs into digital solutions
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in B2B software, industrial applications, manufacturing, or the chemical industry is a plus
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
