Global New Projects Business Coordinator (m/f/d) - Business Segment Ethylene

As a Global New Projects Business Coordinator (m/f/d) reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for ensuring Clariant's successful participation in new petrochemical projects for the Business Segment Ethylene. You will work closely with process licensors, EPC partners, and petrochemical producers to drive business growth and maintain Clariant's competitive edge in the market and manage Clariant`s contribution in such complex, long-term projects with significant business impact.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure Clariant's successful participation in new petrochemical projects for Business Segment Ethylene
  • Drive participation with process licensors, EPC partners, and petrochemical producers
  • Develop attractive technical and commercial proposals
  • Track projects and manage stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with industry partners
  • Maintain project business expectations for short- and long-term planning purposes
  • Coordinate commercial terms with segment leadership team and regional sales teams
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Technology Advisors, and Clariant’s ACT team
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation

 

Requirements

 

  • Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the industry with both technical and commercial experience
  • Fluent English (negotiation level)
  • Proficiency in CRM and integrated IT systems
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Intercultural competence and effectiveness
  • Solid technical knowledge in petrochemical processes
  • Leadership skills without formal authority
