IT Engineer

As Clariant's IT Engineer you will play a key role in keeping our technology running seamlessly across all local sites. You'll be the go-to expert for business units — resolving challenges, minimizing disruptions, and contributing to global and regional IT projects that make a real impact on our operations.


Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT infrastructure and application support across all local sites
  • Serve as the first point of contact for business requests, escalations, and IT challenges
  • Participate in and contribute to global and regional IT projects
  • Maintain and implement the Standard IT Service Framework
  • Act as internal IT Consultant/Analyst for new demands and project-related tasks
  • Meet ServiceNow KPIs and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure service continuity

 

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in IT or 7+ years of equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years in IT support (hardware lifecycle, imaging, troubleshooting, Microsoft Suite)
  • Relevant IT certifications are a plus
  • Fluent in written and verbal English; additional languages are advantageous
  • Proficient communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills
  • Customer-focused, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • Business-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and service excellence
  • Ability to travel 15%
