Responsible for the delivery of complex transactional and informational services to his/her internal and external customers. He/she oversees the efficient and effective resolution of all inquiries received through the Ticketing tool and transactions within the defined service scope.
The position responds for the resolution of complex employee related inquiries and works closely with the HR Services Hub Team Leader or Head of Region HR Service Hub, HRBPs / HR Consultants and HR Vendors as defined in the respective the HR documentation. His/her role also includes tasks related to HR system data maintenance and handling of payroll, time / absence, benefits & pension activities as well global service delivery (Organization & Position Management, HR Knowledge Management Database, Learning Administration, HR Data Quality Management and Compensation, Awards and Mobility administration).
Responsibilities
- Handles simple employee inquiries allocated in the ticketing tool queue. Provides resolution in a timely manner or forwards employee related questions to the respective queue. Informs requestor about the status of request upon enquiry.
- Responsible for follow-ups on ticket’s pending inputs and closure. Ensure timely and accurate resolution of all inquiries and requests.
- Provides direct response to the requester (telephone, email) and informs requestor about inquiry status. Individually answer & respond to high percentage of inquiries with limited escalations.
- Utilize knowledge management and case management instructions to address, track and resolve HR customer inquiries within the SLAs.
- Understand scope of services and escalates items to Tier 2 as defined. Investigates requests which cannot be resolved by analyzing the nature of the request and routing to appropriate Tier 2 support.
- Can serve as contact to HR Vendors (e.g. Payroll, Time, ...) and other stakeholders (employees, managers, Local HR Partner, CoEs, ...).
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on self-service transactions.
- Perform simple process administration in his/her area of responsibility, being local relevant, such as: payroll, time / absence, benefits & pension activities, and global service delivery (Organization & Position Management, HR Knowledge Management Database, Learning Administration, HR Data Quality Management and Compensation, Awards and Mobility administration).
Requirements
- College Degree or bachelor’s in business administration, HR, Finance, Economics, or related areas.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of personnel administration, desirable inside HR HUB shared services.
- Experience handling payroll in Americas countries (Colombia is a must).
- Advanced or intermediate english with strong conversational skills.
- Solution-driven, good communication and interpersonal skills, team & customer oriented, good listen skills, assertiveness, proactivity, detailed-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment subject to changing priorities and short deadlines.
- Experience with Migration of HR processes from countries to a Regional HR Hub.
- Self-starter with a proactive and inquisitive nature who can anticipate and pre-empt problems.
