Senior Business Development Manager (Industrial Lubricants)

We're simultaneously opening this position in both Mexico and Brazil, and will select the final location based on finding the ideal candidate - this could be you!


Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development in key Heart and Belly accounts across the region
  • Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics, geography, and technology within the industrial lubricants sector
  • Identify customer value drivers and prepare persuasive, tailor-made pitches to introduce new products
  • Create and follow up on leads and opportunities with defined customers
  • Manage CRM pipeline and opportunity funnel steps effectively
  • Build close relationships with customer technical areas
  • Coordinate handover to account managers after the first sales
  • Operate as an individual contributor within a coordinated team setup alongside Account Managers (this is not a people management position)
  • Support distributors with training and expertise sharing
  • Provide valuable market insights to regional/global innovation and marketing teams

 

Requirements

  • 8+ years of strong experience within industrial lubricants markets, combining technical expertise with commercial acumen for new business development
  • Sales-driven mindset with the ability to achieve and exceed targets
  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Language fluency in English and Spanish, and Portuguese is desired
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across cultures
  • Strong skills in persuasion, influencing, and conveying complex information simply
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
  • Adaptability, resilience, and agility in a changing business environment
