Equipment & Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

  1. Safety and compliance
  • Implementation of safety production responsibilities        
  • Ensure safety of maintenance staff and contractors
  • Responsible for training of contractors and maintenance employees                                               
  • Implementation of SAMACO plan and PM plan
  • Implementation of the relevant regulations and guidelines
  1. Equipment reliability and maintenance system
  • Build Clariant standard maintenance system
  • Increase equipment reliability to minimize down time                                                      
  • Develop and Implement Preventive Maintenance plan                                                    
  • Responsible for Continuous Improvement                                                          
  • Responsible for shutdown maintenance                                                 
  • Spare parts management                                                          
  • Ensure utilities facilities stable and efficient running (Electricity/Steam/Compressed Air/N2/Chilled & Cooling)
  • Responsible for stable running of environmental protection equipment, like Off-gas treatment facilities         
  1. Maintenance cost
  • Maintenance cost control
  1. Others
  • Tasks assigned by GM                                                 
  • Support CAPEX and other projects for installation, commissioning, and start-up                                         
  • Be responsible as planner and scheduler    

 

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment                             
  • Knowledge of tooling, machinery, assembly equipment, testing techniques and various manufacturing processes
  • Leadership, interpersonal and very strong communication skills
