Your Impact:
As a key member of our Technology & Sustainability function, you'll be at the forefront of shaping Clariant's innovation future. With an impressive innovation sales portfolio of CHF 600M and a pipeline exceeding CHF 1bn, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our global sustainability journey.

 

Key Priorities:

  • Pioneer our Corporate Innovation Strategy, setting ambitious targets that drive sustainable growth
  • Provide critical foundational input that shapes Clariant's strategic direction and decision-making
  • Lead a dynamic team of 8-10 professionals while collaborating with business units worldwide
  • Establish and drive strategic management systems, including performance review and execution frameworks
  • Orchestrate sustainability-driven portfolio transformation, leveraging public funding opportunities
  • Champion innovation capabilities and culture through targeted training programs
  • Spearhead best-in-class scientific information management systems, including AI integration
  • Design and implement strategic roadmapping and scenario planning processes
  • Build and nurture relationships across diverse stakeholder groups

Your Experience:

  • Advanced degree in a field relevant to the chemical industry, or equivalent experience (MBA is a plus)
  • 10+ years of business experience, with a strong foundation in innovation, strategy, or business development
  • Proven track record in project/program management and innovation leadership
  • Experience with digital transformation and agile methodologies
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends
