Intern Corporate Strategy & Innovation

Join Clariant – a global specialty chemicals company – at its Global Headquarters in Pratteln, Switzerland, and kick-start your career with a 5- to 6-month fulltime Internship, ideally starting September / October 2026 (alternative start dates upon agreement), working directly at the heart of our Corporate Strategy & Innovation team, where innovation, transformation, and global decision-making come together every day.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and coordination of our quarterly Performance Review Meeting process
  • Assist in the execution of strategic initiatives and transformation projects at both corporate and business unit levels
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to inform key strategic decisions and help present findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Provide support in facilitating strategic workshops and planning sessions with leadership teams
  • Support BU innovation project teams throughout the innovation process lifecycle, from opportunity ideation and customer needs to launch preparation and market monitoring

 

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master's program in Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field
  • First practical experience in strategy, innovation, consulting, or project management is a plus
  • Good skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical mindset, proactive and structured working approach, and ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • International outlook and strong interpersonal skills
  • Multilingual skills are a strong advantage; English is required
