Intern - National Tax Switzerland

As Intern - National Tax Switzerland you will be supporting the Global Tax Reporting & Compliance Team in Pratteln, Switzerland. The working time are 1.5 days per week and the work must be carried out on site in the office in Pratteln.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting in answering tax audit questions in German and English speaking countries.
  • Supporting in preparation of tax calculations and tax declarations together with the associated documentation for the Swiss subsidiaries .
  • Supporting with day-to-day tax advice for subsidiaries in the German and English speaking countries.
  • Supporting on strategic projects, e.g. by creating Power Point presentations for the board as well as drafting work guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the tax team with research on tax laws and regulations.
  • Support with mapping and analyzing tax-related processes to identify areas for improvement, ensuring efficiency and compliance across workflows.

 

Requirements

  • You are studying in Business Administration, Legal, Finance or related field.
  • Experienced with MS Office Applications.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into economic impact.
  • Reliable, motivated, detail-oriented and self-driven personality.
  • Quickness to grasp new tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership.
  • Interested in taxation, tax regulations and tax concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Interested in digitalization, automation & project management.
