Product Line Manager

Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant is the business unit of Clariant which develops, manufactures, and markets innovative ingredients for the cosmetic and personal care industry. We offer active ingredients, functional ingredients, and delivery systems from various origins.
We're seeking a creative Product Manager to drive innovation in the active ingredients category. If you consider yourself to have an entrepreneurial mindset, team-oriented with communication skills, able to quickly analyze data, solve issues and are creative, join us and be part of an award-winning team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage your own line of products and to shape the future of the cosmetic active ingredients by overseeing product development from initiation to commercialization
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform product strategy
- Monitor competitor activities and serve as a reference for market demands
- Develop comprehensive product strategies, roadmaps, and prioritize features
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from development to end-of-life
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure proper product implementation
- Ensure product range is complete, profitable, and continuously optimized
- Propose growth strategies and marketing materials for the product portfolio
- Train and support sales teams, distributors, and customers
- Review and validate quality and regulatory communications and monitor related issues
- Propose improvements to product launch and development processes
- Maintain a solutions-oriented attitude while handling multiple projects
Requirements:
- University degree in cosmetic science, formulation, biology, chemistry or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in cosmetics industry or similar (sales/marketing)
- Bilingual French-English (spoken and written)
- Available to travel occasionally (20%)
- Experience with product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market data and translate insights into product strategies
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working effectively with remote teams
