Responsibilities
Technical:
1. System Administration:
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of real-time data historian components.
- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Monitoring and optimizing system performance.
2. Data Management:
- Configuration of data points and tags.
- Ensuring data integrity and consistency.
3. Cyber Security:
- Implementing security measures for the data historian system.
- Managing user access and permissions.
- Ensuring compliance with security policies.
4. Reporting and Visualization:
- Creating and managing reports using visualization tools.
- Developing dashboards and visualizations for data analysis.
IT Infrastructure:
1. Networking:
- Network protocols and configurations.
- Firewall setup.
2. Server Management:
- Windows Server administration.
- Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
3. Database Management:
- SQL Server administration.
- Database backup and recovery procedures.
4. Cloud Services:
- Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Cloud-based data storage and management.
5. System Integration:
- Integrate PI System with other enterprise systems.
- API and web services.
Project Management:
- Developing project plans and timelines.
- Managing project schedules and deadlines.
- Managing project budgets and costs.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Facilitating clear and effective communication among stakeholders.
- Preparing and presenting project status reports.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
- Language fluency in English and Portuguese (interviews will be in both languages)
- Workplace in São Paulo/SP (Santo Amaro) with home office policy available
- Candidates must have knowledge or hands-on experience of more than 1 year in the following areas:
- Specific knowledge on AVEVA PI (OSISoft PI) would be beneficial
- Experience with installation and monitoring of OSISoft PI interfaces, servers and user tools
- Experience as system administrator of OSIsoft PI systems (Global architecture experience preferred)
- Experience with monitoring and maintenance OSISoft PI System security and patch deployment
- Experience with OSIsoft PI tag creation, tag monitoring and tag maintenance
- Experience in PI Vision, Asset Framework, PI Batch, etc.
- Advanced Project management skills and international experience
- Able to take End o End ownership of PIMS environment including User requirement identification, Vendor and Project management, Training, Support and Life cycle management
- Familiar with Network Architectures, Firewall configuration and Server configuration and administration
- Network architecture: TCP/IP principles, ports, routing, switching, cabling
- Firewall configuration: Barracuda, Implementing and configuring firewalls
- Guideline 29 related topics: OT Cybersecurity, Network segmentation, DMZ’s
- Server infrastructure: Virtualization & Windows servers, VMWare, Cloud applications & servers configurations
- OPC servers & clients
- Database administration & configuration
