Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory landscapes by independently tracking regulatory developments, assessing their impacts on Clariant's product portfolio, and ensuring timely implementation of compliance measures across the region.
- Manage compliance data and systems by maintaining product safety information in SAP, ensuring timely availability of regulatory data in Clariant systems, and coordinating inventory checks and validation as needed.
- Lead regulatory readiness initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to prepare systems for upcoming regulatory changes and creating essential regulatory documents to support Product Stewardship operations.
- Provide expert customer and stakeholder support by responding to regulatory inquiries, building strong relationships, and serving as a trusted resource for compliance matters.
- Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing by contributing to global process optimization, mentoring team members, and facilitating knowledge transfer and training across the stakeholder network.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in regulatory affairs/product stewardship within global chemical companies, or in regulatory consulting serving the chemical industry
- Proven expertise in Product Stewardship processes, GHS Hazard Classification, and regulatory project management
- Advanced English proficiency (interview will be conducted in English); Spanish proficiency required for regional collaboration
- Based in São Paulo/SP or Suzano/SP region (hybrid work model available)
