IT Business Consultant MDM (Master Data Management - SAP)

The purpose of the role is to supervise SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) master data projects and maintenance tasks in partnership with GBS (Global Business Services)-MDM (Master Data Management) stakeholders. The individual will ensure the integrity of the SAP master data system and maintain master data quality standards. Responsibilities include planning, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Master Data Workflows within SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems (ECC - Enterprise Resource Planning - Enterprise Central Component / S4HANA - SAP S/4 HANA).


Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business cases to devise appropriate and advantageous Master Data solutions.
  • Identify business demands for new or modified requirements/processes based on tickets in ServiceNow.
  • Provide support throughout the entire application development and maintenance cycle for projects.
  • Coordinate with team leads to align activities and business demands, agreeing on priorities and resource allocation.
  • Analyze and evaluate application incidents, offering solutions within specified timeframes. 
    Create technical specifications.
  • Plan, design, develop, test, and implement Master Data changes/solutions and workflows.

 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, encompassing both project work and maintenance tasks.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Master Data Management roles from an IT perspective.
  • Strong background in IT Business Consulting or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in integration and support roles is essential.
  • Proficiency in SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) is required.
  • Experience in S4 HANA migration projects will be an added advantage
