We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Supply Planning Manager to join our BU Catalysts Supply Chain team in Barcelona, Spain. Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Planning, you will be instrumental in optimizing our global inventory portfolio while ensuring seamless supply chain operations across multiple regions. This position offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence and shape supply planning strategies for one of our most dynamic business units from our vibrant Barcelona location.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize global inventory levels across the BU Catalysts portfolio, implementing corrective actions in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
- Define, track, and drive inventory KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance
- Drive cross-functional alignment to balance customer service levels with inventory cost optimization
- Ensure accuracy of business unit inventory estimates and implement proactive mitigation actions to address variances
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of long-term production planning data in KINAXIS system
- Support the continuous improvement of planning processes and contribute to KINAXIS roadmap and system enhancements
- Identify, assess, and manage risks within designated supply chains, developing contingency plans for supply disruptions
- Lead operational Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and manage the operational horizon S&OP process
- Create and maintain supply plans aligned with global stock strategies and business priorities across regions
- Evaluate planning scenarios and balance production capacities across regional manufacturing sites
- Respond proactively to market dynamics, demand volatility, and evolving customer requirements
Requirements
- Completed commercial education, degree in process engineering, or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Inventory Management, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain operations
- Advanced skills in SAP/KINAXIS or other Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tools with strong technical system affinity
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) for effective global collaboration
- Demonstrated hands-on problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in complex supply chain environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong customer-centric mindset with ability to balance service excellence with operational efficiency
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving process optimization initiatives
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment with changing priorities
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate scenarios, interpret data, and make informed strategic decisions
