Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities

Order Management & Fulfillment

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all sales orders to meet customer requirements
  • Follow up on shipping details to ensure orderly fulfillment of sales orders according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally and coordinate with responsible parties to meet customer needs
  • Execute system and technology requirements to support efficient operations

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with credit management and local finance teams on customer payment-related issues
  • Support sales force and local Supply Chain Management (SCM) on material planning and stock optimization within the region
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance & Accounting departments on managing bad payers and overdue accounts

Customer Issue Resolution

  • Manage customer complaints and follow up with Quality Management/Quality Assurance teams via QNS in a timely manner
  • Process return orders and rebates according to standard operational procedures
  • Maintain and manage customer/material-related databases with efficiency and accountability

Customer Advocacy

  • Display customer advocate leadership in all interactions
  • Act as a proactive problem solver for customer challenges
  • Demonstrate accountability for actions and follow-through on commitments

 

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • CET 6 (College English Test Band 6) minimum

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of customer service-related experience and background
  • Experience with order fulfillment processes preferred
  • Previous experience in a chemical company is an advantage
