Total Target Cash Compensation: ¥514,500.00 – ¥686,000.00
Responsibilities
- Drive growth through innovation by converting generated ideas into revenue and profit
- Coordinates the supplier innovation program with internal and external stakeholders
- Act as dedicated Innovation Business Partner for individual market segments
- Establish goals aligned with company growth targets based on market segment strategic directions (boost, outgrow, grow with market, harvest)
- Identify emerging technologies and innovative solutions through supplier market research
- Manage the Supplier-Enabled Innovation (SEI) pipeline and coordinate related programs
- Operate the Project Management Office to track and measure innovation success
- Incubate promising innovation initiatives before transitioning them to Procurement Managers
- Create value-based supplier agreements with shared innovation risks and rewards
- Enable early supplier participation in product development processes
- Maintain balance between quick-win innovations and long-term transformational projects
- Implement systems for measuring and reporting innovation value creation
Requirements
Education
- Advanced degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Solid knowledge in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management & Economics
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Education or training in Innovation Management, Digital Transformation & Emerging Technologies
Experience
- 1–2+ years of experience in Procurement
- Experience leading or participating in innovation initiatives
- Proficiency in procurement technologies such as e-procurement & spend analytics tools
- Experience developing strategic supplier partnerships & collaborative innovation programs
