Sales Manager

Total Target Cash Compensation: ¥393,750.00  – ¥525,000.00

Total Target Cash includes base salary and annual bonus; final offer based on skills and experience.


Responsibilities

Purpose of Job: Manage sales of assigned application(s) accordance with BU/Segment Strategies.

Lead to Opportunities-- Idea to Market

  • Compile/Update/Report Market database of responsible applications to line mgrs.
  • Manage assigned accounts (Rolling 18 months Sales Forecast and business plan for following 2 years)
  • Report market trends; identify new potentials; coordinate product launch.

Opportunity to Order -- Market to Customer

  • Manage and execute assigned customer interactions; provide interaction report/feedback; manage sales forecast.
  • Manage technical/commercial offering; negotiate / revise offering; close deal.
  • Manage and conduct value based selling.                                  

Order to Cash -- Customer to Cash

  • Manage and collect customer feedback; propose solution of unmet needs.
  • Manage and collect payments.
  • Manage and handle feedback/claims (QNS).

Target Management

  • Manage and execute annual Sales KPIs (Sales; Margin; Trade Receivable; Credit; Cash etc.).
  • Manage and execute assigned projects
  • Report business status and proposals to line manager(s) in regular basis.

Collabration with other colleagues in BU

  • Leverage the resource / relationship / knowledge out of segment and region.
  • Actively participate Segment/BU/ Corp. project(s).
  • Adapt Clariant Corporate Values.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; Technical, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing in chemical industry; knowledge of catalyst product(s).
  • Rich commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Good communication skills.
