Responsibilities
- Overall Job scope: To lead and manage the operations of site Tangerang and tolling activities in Indonesia. Ensure the compliance per ESHA guidelines. Deliver the promised products to fulfill business needs. Work on continous improvement of site operation and sustainability.
- Legal Responsibilities: Secure all ESHA (Environment, Safety, Health) and compliance matters in line with corporate policies and local legislation.
- Operations Management: Oversee the planning, scheduling and deliver on production adherence of demand plan. Ensure best safety practices in place and product quality meet the standard specification. Boost Operation excellence culture in the plant to improve production efficiency, cost management and process optimization.
- Maintenance & Engineering: Ensure reliability of assets by working with local service provider to ensure proper maintenance program for production equipment / infrastructure facilities. Lead and execute all the necessary CAPEX projects according to BU strategy and development of the site.
- Strategically review the resources utilization to be optimized and any potential investment new technology to support business growth.
- Manage manufacturing to produce product compliance to specification standard quality and partner with quality department to attend any quality concern related to manufacturing and customer inquiries.
- Controlling and managing department and plant expenses to make sure aligned to organization target and key performance indicator set.
- Manage operational excellent generation and execution overall manufacturing to maximize operation efficiency.
- Work cohesively and synergically with other business partners (Supply Chain, Quality, HR, Finance or other departments) to achieve BU Key Performance Indicator.
- People Management: Provide leadership and ensure people excellence. Proper site KPI definition and performance management of employees. People development and talent movement. Further enhance Clariant culture and employee engagement.
- Toller management: Ensure full compliance as per Clariant guideline and quality standards, proper knowhow transfer and IP management. Measure toller performance and drive continuous improvement for efficiency and cost.
- Act as country representative for Indonesia overseeing all local operations, ensures regulatory compliance, developing market strategies, managing key customer relationships, and represents the company to local stakeholders while aligning with global corporate objectives.
- Perform other task that might being assigned by superior as far as comply with law and company rule and code of conduct.
Requirements
- University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field
- 5+ years of Production & Technology Management.
- 5+ years cross-functional leadership
- 5+ years of project management
- Lean Six Sigma, Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
- Proven ability to analyse and improve financial and operational performance.
- Good English skills
