Global Supply Planner EOD/ Reg. SP EMEA

Responsible for supply chain planning for all the BU worldwide production sites (9 plants), ensuring efficient inventory management, distribution network optimization, and effective demand and supply coordination to guarantee exceptional customer service while maintaining optimal inventory levels and operational costs.


Responsibilities

IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Related:

  1. Support IBP roll-out and execution for strategic horizon (3 to +48 Months)
  2. Ensure transparency and visibility of information and assumptions
  3. Ensure reliability on planning outlooks from Rough Cut Capacity Plan
  4. Propose and implement process improvements

Supply Network Design:

  1. Determine optimal production locations to accommodate demands
  2. Analyze Make or Buy decisions based on financial returns
  3. Define optimal locations for investments
  4. Maximize existing asset utilization
  5. Consider capacity limitations, expansion plans, freight costs, raw material costs, and regulations

Capacity Management:

  1. Overall capacity reporting and balancing across regions
  2. Create occupation heatmap per Region/Technology for IBP routine
  3. Inform capacity limits for allocations in IBP (SBR/PRM/IR)

Inventory Management:

  1. Create and maintain inventory policies
  2. Determine optimal inventory levels and locations
  3. Support agreed service levels at optimal costs
  4. Highlight inventory risks and align decisions for service/cost trade-offs

Strategic Planning:

  1. Create scenarios for discussion covering issues, constraints, or optimizations
  2. Collaborate on technology transfers between regions
  3. Support new investment proposals

Participate in Clariant Excellence Projects                                              


 

Requirements

  • College degree in Business Administration, Economics Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain or related fields
  • 5+ years solid experience in Supply planner areas; responsible for regional or global scope.
  • Effective relations with Supply planning and demand stakeholders.
  • Desirable experience in multinational companies and environments.
  • Project Management experience - will be an advantage;
  • SAP Module knowledge, good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook;
  • End-to-end process understanding & optimization
  • Language skills: Fluent English and knowledge of other languages to assure proper process execution;
